Despite mounting pressure from the Democrats to consider his political future after a car-crash debate performance, Joe Biden seems to be staying firmly in the race with Jill Biden stubbornly standing by his side.

And her actions over the past 48 hours are clear that she is the one firmly pulling the strings over her husband’s decision to stay in the race.

She made it clear when she spoke to wealthy donors in New York on Friday night she knew how the debate was perceived but said she told her husband the campaign would continue.

"So let's talk about last night's debate, because I know it's on your minds." she said. "As Joe said earlier today, he's not a young man. And you know, after last night's debate, he said, 'You know, Jill, I don't know what happened. I didn't feel that great.' And I said, 'Look, Joe, we are not going to let 90 minutes define the four years that you've been president.'"

At his next press conference, she sat in a chair front and center, taking charge.

The question is what will she do now: Will she push for changes at the campaign? Will she call for staff to be fired? Will she put Joe Biden in public more? Or will she urge the White House to continue to use stage-managed events and keep him surrounded by aides?

I think Joe and Jill will exit the race because the deep state has too many carrots and sticks to use.

They do, but that's just going from one frying pan to another frying pan. This is a BAD LOOK for the Democrat Party. ANY replacement who might have an outside chance of winning would decline until 2028. Hillary Clinton's not much younger, and her health is also quite questionable. Trump shows he can beat her even WITH cheating. They COULD try a near unknown (my money is on Beshear from Kentucky). All those choices mean a nominee who got ZERO votes during the primary, kinda hard to talk about protecting Democracy when an oligarchy of directed superdelegates determine the outcome. Yo might even have entire state Dem parties say, "Bag it" we back RFK Jr, like many Dem leaders did with Wallace over Humphrey in 1968.

So, if I am the Deep Staters, I would either

1. Do WHATEVER it takes to keep Trump from taking office. Yes, ANYthing.

2. Get a Deep State plant for VP if possible. It is important that long-term MAGA be corrupted.

3. Make sure that Trump does NOTHING that can't be undone with the stroke of a pen until 2029. For everything else, tie it up in Court.

4. Agencies should steer the country over the cliff so Trump gets the blame.

I don’t think Joe is totally aware of what’s going on and he lives in a fantasy world of Jill’s creation. “Dr” Jill is a combination of Lady McBeth and Evita Peron and is a despicable human being. She doesn’t care about Joe other than he continue as POTUS so she can have a glamorous life. She willingly lets a deep state cabal run the country and doesn’t care what is happening to the country or that Joe is a laughingstock.

Joe has told numerous stories on how he met Jill. In his book, Jill's ex-husband wrote they were a married couple, volunteers on Joe's Senate campaign, when he found out Joe and Jill were meeting behind his back. Jill later showed up as a baby-sitter after Joe's wife died.
