Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has announced he’s open to the idea of replacing Biden on the Democratic presidential ticket.
In an interview with News Nation, host Chris Cuomo said the Biden campaign is in “free fall” and that placing Kennedy as the Democratic nominee could really solve the party’s problems.
Cuomo asked Kennedy, “Would you be open to talking to them if they reached out to you?”
Kennedy responded, “Of course I would talk to them. It would put me on the ballot with nobody trying to get me off.”

Of course he is willing. That is a chilling thought. The dems reverence anything named Kennedy. AND...some stuff he says makes actual sense, I hate to say.
The only positive of an RFK jr presidency is that he does not seem to be a criminal.....this means that the demacrat party would never pick him
My opinion too. Trump proved that the Republican Party Establishment would rather lose the election, and keep control of the party, than win the election, but lose the party to an outsider. With the Democrats that is even more true.
Except for the pedo part, his sexual perversions possibly could be worse than Biden’s. (And we don’t know for sure about “pedo” with him.)
“Big Pharma won’t allow it.”
Pithy. I hadn’t considered that angle. Big Pharma, hundreds of their lobbyists ... You hit the nail on the head.
“But a honorable Democrat.”
Yes, if “honorable” is being an extreme womanizer, and goading a spouse into committing suicide ...
Never said he was perfect.
Just adding to the conversation, like everyone else.
For example, he's against open borders (calling them a "dystopian nightmare"), he is against transgender men competing in women's sports, he is against "woke capitalism," particularly in response to comments made by Target's CEO, he has said that he is in favor of charter schools, and he is (he says) very supportive of small and medium-sized business and wants to break-up large corporations and banks.
The first 2024 presidential debate between President Biden and former President Trump was held on Thursday night. It marked the first time a sitting president debated a former one.
The 90-minute discussion hosted by CNN was more of an incoherent debacle than any substantive debate. Biden was halting and disjointed. He was hard to hear, muffled his lines and often appeared to lose his train of thought. Meanwhile, Trump... “Joe Biden really failed to rise to this moment,” says Chris Lehmann, D.C. bureau chief for The Nation. “I expected nothing great, but it was so much worse.”
We also speak with Norman Solomon, executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy and the co-founder of RootsAction.org, which sponsors the “Step Aside Joe!” campaign. He says Biden’s performance in the debate showed “he is clearly impaired” and unable to defeat Trump, which is “a gift to the extreme right wing.”

That would be a smart move on the Democrats’ part, but given that he’s already filed as an independent (the “We The People Party”) in several states, it might create difficulties, since most states don’t allow a candidate to run on two lines.
Besides, the Democrats might not want to run the same set of electors. In 2016,the American Independent Party in California nominated Donald Trump, but only two of the electors were on both tickets.
Robert Kennedy Jr tries to have it both ways on immigration. He says he wants to stop illegal immigration, but he wants to do so by labelling all illegal immigration as “legal immigration,” and he opposes any deportations for any purpose whatsoever. And I’ve heard him deliver a speech in person that not only praised the wisdom of communism, but hail how wonderful Fidel Castro was. He’s a nutjob who figured out he has to sound different from the other cloned NPCs of the Democrats if he wants to run against them, but he makes Bernie Sanders sound like a calm, reasonable Republican.
If that is so, I will concede to your personal experience.
