The Most Disastrous Debate Performance in U.S. History
The American Spectator ^ | June 27, 2024, 11:46 PM | Daniel J. Flynn

It started with a “Hello, Cleveland” moment. Joe Biden gingerly shuffling to the podium and saying in a husky whisper “Great to be here, thank you” to an empty room foreshadowed.

The 90 minutes that followed showcased a candidate struggling to articulate coherent thoughts in complete sentences and occasionally suffering brain freezes.

The key moment came early, when, for many uncomfortable seconds, Biden lost not only his train of thought but muttered words seemingly untethered from his brain. The profoundly awkward moment ended with the non sequitur: “Look, if we finally beat Medicare.”

Come again?

The split-screen when Trump answered questions damaged Biden nearly as much. As Trump spoke, Biden stared blankly, almost catatonically, at the floor.

Did they coach him in that airplane hangar to look as spaced out as though he were in the midst of an LSD trip?

Later, when Biden trailed off in answering a question on immigration, Trump deadpanned: “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said, either.”

Everyone thought, including Biden supporters, what Trump said before he said it.

Yes, our enemies, both domestic and foreign are watching this and the probability is they will take advantage of it between now and Jan.

We are in an extremely dangerous time.

Joe is mentally incompetent. The 25th Amendment was designed for a situation such as this. Yet, no one is allowed to talk about Joe’s mental state.

Our enemies can see Joe is not capable of making a decision. We are in a dangerous time.

The blame lies squarely on the mainstream media who have been lying to us in order to protect Joe Biden.

Trump deadpanned: “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said, either.”

That was my reaction throughout the "debate". The senile WH resident mumbling incoherently, and when I could understand Biden's comments they were full of lies because he couldn't remember the lines he was coached to say. He got the numbers all wrong while trying to spout his coached comments.

Your number is revealed for 800 calling, if there is a jerk in that office they may send your number to spam businesses.

Biden did fine. Really, really well. He was superb.

We need to voice our wholehearted support for his stellar performance to the DNC and tell them he convinced you that democracy is in peril unless he remains in office. Tell them that you would donate to his campaign, but you need every cent for your transition.

Maybe Biden was looking for the “sympathy” vote.

Thank you for referencing that article E. Pluribus Unum.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.

I wouldn't be surprised if mainstream media, FN for example, had a “plan B” analysis of debate prepared if Biden had done at least like he did in State of the Union address, just to try to make themselves and Biden look good.

Dukakis saying he wouldn't harm the criminal if he raped his wife was a bad debate moment. The Dean scream was a bad moment. This is something so terrible he will never recover.

He could lose every state and down ballot races. Forget the Presidency, House and Senate seats, local ballot measures etc.

The only people who that the debate was worth watching were Xi Jinping, Kim Jung Unn , Putin and the head of Iran.

And the Dims have no way to replace biden and/or Harris!

Of course they have a way to replace either or both. Yes, many delegates are pledged to Joe, but if the mucky-mucks decide that Biden is leading them into an epic train wreck of an election, they’ll find a way.

Either convince Joe to drop out of the race, or change the rules and allow his delegates to ‘vote their consciences’ for the ‘good of the country and party’. It’s not as if the voters who voted for Joe in the primaries will be upset. They were voting democrat ideas/policies, not really Joe.

The question becomes, who do they pick?

Probably a good time to stay out of cities and big crowds in general.

I would suspect we will get a terrorist attack or some kind of False Flag attack soon.

They need to do something to get Biden’s blank stare off of every internet/Cable TV in the WORLD.
