Millions just witnessed the end of a presidency live on television.
Joe Biden’s performance during the debate was embarrassing.
Whenever CNN put him up on the split screen, he had a thousand-yard stare.
He didn’t look old.
He looked ancient.
He looked empty.
But at least he wasn’t speaking.
Because when it was his time to answer, Biden was incoherent.
He said he “beat Medicaid.”
Asked about abortion, he randomly started talking about migrant crime.
“I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” former President Trump noted at one point, “and I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
At one point Biden just froze.
The administration can’t say it’s a “cheap fake” — everyone saw it happen.

Biden can’t survive this.
It is political malpractice to let him continue to run for re-election.
It is national malpractice to let him continue.
Biden spent an entire week preparing for this debate, and this is the best he could do.
That should terrify everyone.

The funny thing is this has been going on since he was VP under Obama.
The MSM was giving him cover.
This is the bed they made. The true powers are terrified of Trump and Joe was just their puppet. But everyone knows he’s going to lose....and with it, everything for them.
Their platform is a mess. Losing black voter support. Hamas supporters bullying the party against Jews. Even Hispanics don’t want open borders. Everyone knows inflation is hurting and crime is rampant, yet the D’s still try to gaslight everyone - but it isn’t going to work, pocketbooks don’t lie.
I’ve no idea who will run. I’d be shocked if Michelle stepped in. Newsom is another ‘white guy’ many wouldn’t want, DEI and all. Harris isn’t respected. Pete Bootyfudge? Yeah...maybe Whitler....errr Whitmer. Many legacy D’s (Pelosi, Schumer, Mad Maxine, etc.) all wanted to stay in office forever, now they’ve left a void of viable younger candidates.
This isn’t a deck of cards collapsing, it’s an entire mountain.
I think they’ll just go with Harris, recognizing they will lose in November. Why would Newsome, Whitmer, and others want to jump in now, only to lose, and be written off for 2028?

You underestimate Gavin Noisome. He is as slick as they come and disciplined enough to stay on message. The ladies will think he's cute.
The funny thing is... there has to be somebody that was still pushing the idea that Biden is cogent and sharp. Who was that idiot? Fake Dr. Jill? Or some other rabidly blind and leftist sycophant of the Bidens?
Whoever it was is probably now either fired or finally silenced. Trump won in so many ways last nite. But I still fear that it won’t be enough “winning” to defeat the evil we are faced with currently. I hope and pray that I am wrong re: that.

Possibly - I doubt Harris want’s it either. How embarrassing, either they ask her to run, knowing she’ll lose, or they don’t even ask...because they know she will lose.
I think Harris should push for Biden to resign so she can get a few months as president. She could then leave with a smile, retire, else go run for California governor which I think reading recently that she was eyeing.

I suspect they’ll put Gavin Newsom in now. But Gavin just made a complete fool out of himself (officially) yesterday before the debate by defending Biden’s abilities ... period, full stop. Not that it will matter to the desperate left at this point.
He saw reality. Everyone else only got to see that side of reality that the TV people deigned to show them. The TV people are liars, and the lies were writ large, trying to eclipse the worst of reality that shone through the window dressing. Many of us saw the reality, too, way back then, you lying, dog-faced pony soldier.
Afghanistan was one thing they couldn’t eclipse. Inflation and border were the others. Now his abject corruption is on display, too, at least in Congress, and his senility just got shown before the world. I have no sympathy for him. Way back then I said that he reminded me of Uncle Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. A thoroughly evil person, who is disabled.

Biden delights in the praises of others. He will never be like Nixon when Pat Buchanan came to him and told him it was time to step down.
