Chick-Fil-A Shooting: Suspect Arrested After Hourslong Manhunt

Two people were shot and killed at a Chick-Fil-A in Texas on Wednesday afternoon, with the suspect identified by his wife.

Irving Police Department responded to a Chick-Fil-A in the city just north-west of Dallas at 3:40 p.m. to find two people shot.

Police identified the gunman as Oved Bernardo Mendoza Argueta, 37, on early Wednesday evening, saying he was suspected of carrying out a targeted shooting.

In an arrest affidavit shared with Newsweek on Thursday morning, police named one of the victims as Patricia Portillo. The other is yet to be named while next-of-kin are notified.

Mendoza Argueta was arrested in the early hours Thursday and booked into the Irving Jail just after 3:15 a.m. on capital murder charges.

The suspect's jail record also included a hold by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, meaning the agency intends to take custody of him at a later point.

This happened a week ago. The suspect would have been caught sooner, but the police took Sunday off.

And to think that I was vilified 15 years ago for explaining clearly what was going to happen with illegal immigration. I could schedule a meetup with folks to be at a school board meeting to confront them about letting a truth-teller go, but who would show up? Probably would be a lot of Anti-fa and BLM types who would find out and be there to defend the school board. Conservative Americans won’t show up for that.

It used to be that males from South America wore long locks and beards and had facial hair.
