Sad to see the Vatican engaging in this level of political tom-foolery. Too many of our high-level prelates have been captured.
It's as if they don't believe there's a God above to take care of us. Whenever I read about the Vatican being alarmists about worldly things, I wonder if they have ever read Matthew 6:26- Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
There's plenty of good reasons to be responsible stewards of the planet, but only because we love what God has given us- not because we think he has left us on our own.
The only ones to their knees are the little boys in the Vatican.
You know. The ones helping the priests break their vow of chastity to their GAWD!!
