I say upend the whole thing by announcing the VP choice, then answer the most slanted questions by quoting the “moderators” past statements about him
Media keeps saying that the goal is to get Trump to lose control, but Biden has a decades long history of snapping at people, yelling etc. Biden is the one who comes off unhinged to me.
The reasons the models are experiencing upheaval is because of the partisan mix.
Look it up. Most polls are clearly showing the GOP and Dems as fringe 27% parties vs Independents who are 45ish%.
Then the response from the lazy who don’t want to create new models is to declare that Independents are not Independents and actually lean. Independents are not independent because their attitudes are between left and right and live their lives as unable-to-decide moderates.
That’s not the way the world of Independents has evolved to be. They care very little about issues that would place them in some middle. Rather, they care about entirely different issues that are driving reality this time. Drain the Swamp is a powerful attitude and it is pointed at both parties. Get rid of the party hierarchies by rejecting incumbents.
This is driving the numbers this time. It’s why Biden has lost about 5% of the alleged popular vote edge of 2020, during which he polled up 7% and actual numbers were 5%.
That is erased. THIS is why the battlegrounds show the Trump lead.
Frankly, I am amazed Trump agreed to debate. He has nothing to gain.
