Russia has reportedly moved some elements of its formidable S-500 air defense system to Crimea. After successful Ukrainian attacks on the S-400 missile system, questions are being raised about whether Russia is exposing its still combat-untested, cutting-edge resource by putting it in the possible range of Ukrainian strikes.
Russia is known to have just one active S-500 regiment, comprising just two battalions with two air-defense batteries each. Details of what elements have been moved are not clear. Air-defense systems of this type have several operational components, including command posts, radars, and launchers.

Not to worry, transgenderism is our strength.
We have lasers and Iron Dome for that.
You might want to catch your breath. The S400 is being defeated left and right in Ukraine, as well as Syria, and it was touted as being the best of the best. Its always best to question the validity of Russian statements about their weapon systems.
Additionally, I would wait and see how many units the Russians can build, field, and maintain before you panic.
Consider also, the Patriot is a proven platform, and it continues to perform well in both Ukraine and Israel.
More overrated Russian junk.
The ABM Treaty was stupid.
Russia had already violated it. We hadn’t.
Dispersal, dummies and ~40mm automatic directed fire guns can work well.
“What if the Russians have developed the technology to knock out most of our ICBMs?”
There might be 10 warheads in each ICBM.
Each warhead might be given 8 shells that have the same radar and visible appearance.
That’s 80 possible targets per ICBM.
If US has 1000 ICBMs, that’s 80,000 possible interceptions needed.
Nuclear warheads are mostly solid. They are hard to blow apart.
The best thing to do is to damage their outsides so the warheads vaporize upon reentry in the atmosphere.
Since a warhead travels at 20,000mph, a small metal ball in its path can do big damage.
Warheads can zig-zag to avoid ball bursts to some extent.
Warheads might use radar wave absorbing coverings.
The Russians could smuggle in a nuclear bomb in little pieces and deliver those pieces to the DC area.
Our border security is a joke.
There are road sensors in sensor bands I’m sure, but those sensors may not cover all roads.
The Russians could close their borders and disperse their people in a huge country.
Russians rely on root vegetables in the winter, so they have food for many months.
Snowfall might absorb nuclear radiation.
Who wrote this crap, Russians drunkenly beating their chests or Raytheon looking for more money?
Hard to tell them apart.
Maybe they conspired to write it together.
“It’s mental... You act like absolute spineless cowards as a country letting every bloody ... Abdul or whoever into your country – you don’t know nothing about them, their criminal histories, or anything, or their ideologies, and then you turn up mob-handed for me for giving a talk at a seminar.”

The U-235 Iranian uranium would be hard to detect if the Iranians tried to smuggle it in so they could vaporize much of the District of Columbia.
The Russians be rather stupid to deploy it.
The US would be able to discover what it can do.
Remember ATACMS? You know, the best we have. Where’s all the damage from those HUNDREDS of ATACMS the Ukes have wasted? Oh yeah, typical attack yesterday. Five ATACMS launched, four shot harmlessly down, one hit and destroyed over a beach, killing civilians.
Sounds like you’re some putz whore for Lockheed Martin trying keep the MIC gravy train rolling. You know there’s all kinds footage from Ukraine of what Russian air dominance looks like. One thing you won’t see, Uke Patriots. There aren’t any left! The big boom fairies must have made them all disappear.
lol, sure. That’s why I bashed Raytheon.
“The U-235 Iranian uranium would be hard to detect if the Iranians tried to smuggle it in so they could vaporize much of the District of Columbia.”
Why would they do that to their allies?
“The ABM Treaty was stupid. Russia had already violated it. We hadn’t.”
Yes, we did. Eris, Heidi, and Hoe in the 1980’s were nothing but anti ballistic missiles.
Nailed it. Pro-Putin influencers are getting more and more desperate to find scary propaganda to post. (Eurasian Times? Really? Does the GRU hand out a list of these Russian-owned micro-sites for them to navigate to?)
Assuming for a moment that this vaunted system isn't vaporware, which is highly likely given the source, I'd wait until they get it all installed, and then watch the Ukrainians can knock it out with a $1000 drone.
Didn't you see yesterday's official memo? The appropriate pronoun for that sentence is now "qour", as in "transgenderism is qour strength". Please make a note.
