There are consequences to US involvement against Russia. If this is true, at least it was an unmanned aircraft and it should make it a US public discussion whether we really, really want to get involved in the Russian-Ukrainian Civil War? I say No. End our involvement now, stop any pending aid. Call on both parties to accept a ceasefire and negotiate a settlement. Maybe a vote and let the residents of the areas in dispute pick being under Russian or Ukrainian flag.
Apart from the drone, the precipitating event was the Ukes launching $6 million of American tax $$$ to get 4 shoot-downs, and a bunch of injured sunbathers. I’d like to think that the US wouldn’t target those folks, and I have a hard time believing that the Ukes, wanting continued support from the US, would deliberately target them, either.
