Russia has nothing to up the ante with as it is fullt committed in Ukraine. China is busy planing its invasion of Taiwan. Neither is meaningfully in a position for substative involvement in a middle east war. We will never invade Iran, but we might bomb or blockade it. They probably already have the bomb but so does Israel and I doubt Iran could knock them out with a first strike so any strike would be national suicide.
