When a candidate runs on character, you know his record can’t be good.
Hence President Biden’s reported $50 million spend on an ad titled “Character Matters,” which features unflattering photos of Donald Trump while focusing on the Republican nominee’s legal troubles. Hey, we paid good taxpayer money engineering those court cases and we’re not going to waste it.
“Going negative,” as they say in politics, worked for Biden before. He was on the ticket in 2012 when Barack Obama became the first modern president to win reelection with fewer votes than he received the first time. And Trump gives the Democrats plenty more to work with than Mitt Romney did.
Biden will try to keep the discussion focused on Trump’s flaws with good reason: Only in the bizarro world of American politics could the current incumbent be cast as the candidate of decency and integrity.
With the unstinting support of the corrupt corporate media, which works to bury evidence of Biden’s troubling character rather than expose it, the president will memory hole his long history of dishonesty, deceit, and disturbing behavior to cast himself as a man of compassion and integrity.
Fortunately, we have the receipts.
Most politicians have a casual relationship with the truth, but Biden stands out in his insistence on repeating thoroughly debunked statements. At a Hollywood event with Obama last week he claimed that Trump promised a “bloodbath” of violence if he does not prevail this November – the former president used that term in describing the effect of Biden’s climate polices on the automobile industry. Biden also repeated the canard that Trump had told people to inject bleach to fight COVID-19. The Washington Post was among the outlets that give these falsehoods the stamp of approval by failing to provide context or correction as they do with most every word Trump utters.

“If Character Matters, Biden Flunks the Test”
Character only matters to Republicans, which is why many of them are happier with Democrats taking seats from RINOs, which has gotten us into this mess.
Even though it likely will never happen, but if these Republicans were capable of making an OBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT of the difference between so-and-so RINO and the Flaming Leftist that he’s running against, we could start pulling ourselves out of this mess.
But given what I see posted here (and not just by trolls), it’s pretty much hopeless.
Character doesn’t matter to any democrat.
The only thing that matters to them is power, and they’ll attain power through whatever means possible, including stealing elections. Lying and cheating and using lawfare, are some of their tactics, meaning that, character is meaningless to them.
If character mattered to any of them, the accusations on Trum for collusion with Russia would never have happened. If character mattered to any democrat, the Trump trial of last month would never have happened. If character mattered to any democrat, the border would be secured and we wouldn’t have the 10-25 million illegals in the country from the last 3.5 years. If character mattered to democrats, we wouldn’t have democrats try to codify abortions into law.
Character is not a word that democrats can use to make any of their decisions. If there was a democrat dictionary, the word character would not appear on any page.
That’s right.

He flunked long ago when to win his senate seat he blamed a hard-working blue collar truck driver for “drinking his lunch.”
I remember then Obama was in office and some in the leftist community wanted to put Obama’s face on the blue field of the flag? Some even wanted to change the name of the nation to the Republic of Obama? When Biden wins big in November, with 800 Million votes. The surging Democrats will urge Obama replace Jackson (racist who hated Native People)on the twenty dollar bill with Obama.
