The Mail on Sunday ^ | June 23 | The Mail on Sunday

Volodymyr Zelensky has furiously described Nigel Farage as being infected with the "virus of Putinism", the Mail on Sunday reports. It writes that the Ukrainian president's "extraordinary intervention" comes after the Reform UK leader suggested the West was partially responsible for Russia's full-scale invasion. The Mail also reports that one of Farage's "most prominent supporters has repeatedly called for closer ties with the Kremlin".

Farage said he detest what Putin did but he correctly pointed out that Europe chose confrontation from a position of weakness. Both the UK and Europe should have been spending at least 3.5% of gdp on defence as a deterrent to Putin but we didnt. Our leaders were writing cheques our butts couldn’t cash. I say this as someone who absolutely supports the now necessary aid to Ukraine.

Most of the country is living normally west of the dneiper. Russia hasn’t advanced more than walking distance in 2+ years

“LOL, nobody can rebuild after a war. Okay”

LOL, I never said nobody can rebuild after a war.

I mentioned the death and destruction was not worth the two eastern provinces.

They are upset with Farage, he was instrumental in getting England to leave the EU’s immoral, destructive leadership….Brexit bought England some time.

Brexit:
Brexit (/ˈbrɛksɪt, ˈbrɛɡzɪt/;[1] portmanteau of “British exit”) was the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU). Following a referendum on 23 June 2016, Brexit officially took place at 23:00 GMT on 31 January 2020 (00:00 1 February 2020 CET).[a] The UK is the only sovereign country to have left the EU.

The EU, much like Senile Joe’s administration , is destroying once great nations.
Much of the damage is irreversible. Time will tell, waiting for Turkey to join Brics ( not officially announced yet) and leave NATO- it will be a nail in NATO’s coffin- Amen.

“Russia hasn’t advanced more than walking distance in 2+ years”

May be because they have always said they were interested only in the two eastern provinces.

Nah…Farage has woken up to the propaganda we have been fed about Russia since 1992. I too was deceived until i started researching fact and understanding nuance in this current border war. Perhaps you will come to truth some day instead of continually regurgitating mainstream media lies…?

I mentioned the death and destruction was not worth the two eastern provinces.

You're assuming Putin could be trusted not to break any treaty he signs, and would be satisfied with 2 provinces.

Putin just demanded 4 provinces in his "peace" proposal and Ukraine neutrality.

Ukraine already signed a peace deal with Putin in 2003, that he broke, “Treaty Between the Russian Federation and Ukraine on the Russian–Ukrainian State Border”. It set Ukraine’s borders as they were in 1991 & was lodged with the UN.

Putin invaded Ukraine, seizing territory and stating Ukraine as a nation has no right to exist independently. That, according to you is a "border war". Okay

Russian invasion timeline. Not what you do if you're ONLY interested in "two eastern provinces."

“You’re assuming Putin could be trusted not to break any treaty he signs, and would be satisfied with 2 provinces.”

I assume nothing. Peace treaties have always occurred, and most of the time it is like dealing with the devil.

“Putin just demanded 4 provinces in his “peace” proposal and Ukraine neutrality.”

That is called horse trading, negotiations, exaggerating what you claim you want to get what you really want.

Have you ever wondered why their is no clamour for a peace deal in that war like there is between Israel and Hamas?

“Most of the country is living normally west of the dneiper. Russia hasn’t advanced more than walking distance in 2+ years”

Really? With 400,000 deaths and large swathes of the population having left the country, and the average age of the soldiers now is middle aged, most of the country is living normally????
