I put it out there sometimes to illustrate how hypocritical many of us are. I’ve seen many here beat the crap out of fast food and claim Mom-and-Pop is healthier-but are they? Do they even bother to look at what they’re getting. For example, I often (3 times this week) buy multiple Double-Quarter-Pounders and throw away the buns. This leaves me with a couple of pickle slices, some onions, a bit of Ketchup and Mustard, and HALF A POUND of beef.
And so, from their website (McDonald’s), here are the ingredients in their beef patties:
100% BEEF PATTY:
Ingredients: 100% Pure USDA Inspected Beef; No Fillers, No Extenders.
Prepared with Grill Seasoning (Salt, Black Pepper).
For us Keto types, this is PERFECTION. For others, it is also perfection, but they’re brainwashed to not even realize that.
It’s the cost. I can get 100% grass-fed beef, 85% lean, for $5.49/lb at Aldi.
100% beef could mean any part of the cow, as in scrap parts too.
