Reagan said all of this stuff over 40 years ago and nothing happened.
There are several cabinet agencies that need to go, Education, Energy, Health Services, and more. Imagine cutting the employment of the Federal Government by at least half and this people having to find real jobs.

Finally! Is it possible that Trump gets it now? Cut it all down!

RE: Former President Trump says he will get rid of the Department of Education if elected president

The first question that came to my mind is this — How did the Department of Education get created in the first place?

If my memory serves me correctly, this department was created in October 1979 by Congress with the Department of Education Organization Act.

Does the President have the authority to get rid of a department that was created BY LAW? Shouldn’t the abolishing of this department be done by Congress?

How does the new president Melei, of Argentina say it,.... afuera?

Pres. Melei showing up to a rally with a running chainsaw to show people he was going to cut and trim crazy spending seemed like theater, but so far he’s shaking up and now has a balanced budget for the country.

Pres. Trump needs to get his dream team to figure out how to plan and perform such a task.

Ever seen the "art" paid for by an NEA grant?

What the hell is that?

Is this a signed Napoleon Dynamite original?

That would be a good start.

Good idea, yes. But only if it’s replaced with a logical, common sense solution that actually does teach kids what they need to know (not sex, perversions and drugs, IOW).

I think taxpayers should be able to direct their money towards smaller educational groups that actually have oversight and accountability (for a change) vs. the current gov-run public “indoctrination” system.

If Trump could really pull this off it would be wonderful. I just don’t see him getting enough support among the rats and their RINO assistants in Congress to get anything passed along these lines. Money talks and the unions’ money seemingly talks the loudest.

Can’t he just wait until after the election and just do it? FFS just stop handing them an ammo box!

But Conservatives have been saying that for years. Hasn’t happened yet.

I’m a certified ELA and ESE teacher (I teach ‘English’ to the little dummies, but my real love is working with exceptional ed students, I adore them.) This is actually a great idea. What we’re teaching kids is garbage, and the average gen pop student is a functional moron.
They’re all convinced they’re going to be famous influencers and brain surgeons —especially the lowest of the low.
