The man who attacked Paul Pelosi, the husband of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), was convicted by a jury in California on Friday on five charges.
In May, David DePape was sentenced to 30 years in prison by a federal judge after being convicted by a jury in November 2023 of attacking Paul Pelosi with a hammer at the Pelosis’ home in California.
DePape was found guilty of “aggravated kidnapping, first-degree burglary, false imprisonment, threats against an elected official or their family, and preventing or dissuading a witness by force or threat,” San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said, according to NBC News.

I’ll never forget those first news reports that came out locally (I have immediate family in the area, almost the same neighborhood).
The local news outlet stated that the perp was recognized by neighbors and had been seen entering the home on other occasions - when Nancy was in DC and was that he was known to them.
That local news outlet took it down within days and erased it all. Completely scrubbed off of the net. Wish I’d screen shotted it but I figured it would be in the media as well.

Yet this is the first you have mentioned this ridiculous claim, one time, more than a year after the attack, you said “I read a report that said neighbors had seen this guy come to the Pelosi house before this.” and that was it, you have always posted fake stuff about the attack, such as the attacker being in his underwear, that the police broke the glass, etc.
Careful you don’t want a 4:00am visit.
Good post—real facts often hit the local media immediately after the event before the DC censors swarm in to “create a narrative” and bury evidence that contradicts that narrative.
Local reporters are not “in the loop” that first day so they have no idea they are supposed to be covering up the details.
Another example of “scrubbed” news was local radio callers the day of and day after Sandy Hook.
First responders from Bridgeport and Stamford called local radio stations and told similar stories.
They heard radio reports of a mass shooting in Newtown CT. They immediately gathered their gear and raced to their local hospital helipad so they could get to the scene and help save the lives of these innocent children.
When they got to the helipad they were told:
“What are you doing here? Nobody called you. Go home.”
That was wacko since it was probably a ten minute helicopter ride to the school—and presumably there were dozens of wounded children to be saved.

This major national story on the attack of the Speaker’s house to kidnap her and hold her hostage and almost killing her husband was not some tiny backwoods town with a single sheriff and one local paper taking days to reach the big city reporters and the networks.
This was an attack of the Speaker’s House in Pacific Heights, San Francisco, everything hit the nation at once as a breaking story and everyone and anyone was saving all the videos and newscasts, so where are they?
I cannot address the poster’s original claim—but I do know that the political affiliation of the perp was scrubbed to make him appear a right wing nut instead of a left wing nut.
When I ask where are they I mean that thousands of sites and bloggers would have the “scrubbed” newscasts if they had existed, but they didn’t, the poster was making that up.
We do have video and audio of the main parts of the actual real life event.
