He’s worth about $300 million and he’d be ok financially if he lost his show. He had the financial wherewithal to do what he wanted, including an internet chat show. This is the bigger point, imo.
He should have told Fox to shut him down if they tried to make him say something that wasn’t true. He could have gone internet, like Alex Jones or Meghan Kelly.

To some extent, I can see him not wanting to have the hundreds of people dependent upon his employment losing their jobs. I think your thinking changes when it’s no longer about you but the hundreds of people dependent upon you.
Yes but I really do think he’s so concerned more about his ‘career’ and being the #1 or whatever on Fox News.
He’ll do anything to maintain that status until he retires is the impression I get with him.

He has enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life. If he didn’t cave in to the pressure and lost his contract with Faux News, he would not have suffered.
