I’ve walked in that area hundreds of times, and when I visit USC, I usually park about a block or two away.
Not just California, but California is more like South Africa than North Dakota is.
Do you disagree?

Exactly. If the stabber’s name was Brad O’Brien I think it might have had a different outcome.
My thoughts exactly. Kid stayed on scene, the cops knew who he was and where he lived. Zero reason to arrest him while investigating the incident.
That's your first clue.
The defendant should have never been charged.
But, yes, I think his ethnicity had a lot to do with the backpedaling from the DA.

The guy who got killed was black...
According to the guy’s mother, the guy got some mental health treatment in San Pedro...
Again...Some guy with mental problems...
I believe that it is very hard to put somebody in mental hospital against his will...
Frustrating indeed...
Yes, indeed...Areas around USC campus...Residents are mostly Hispanic...Some blacks...
There is a Target store near USC campus...There used to be a cheap movie theater near USC...It is now gone...Replaced by a Target store...
