Also, California, NY , MA and IL for instance can have 65% for Dems and “flyover states” can have a 2% Trump margin.
Dems have to be far ahead every time to win the non sure thing always Dem states plus all the others for 270 electoral votes.
I well remember the morning of the POTUS election in 2016, the media reported that “Hilary had a 95% chance of winning the election” - hell, she had the fireworks and blow-out election show all ready to go and had to cancel it.
What a sweet victory that was.
