Christians number about 1000 out of 2 million...and don’t kid yourself...likely in name only...
That’s for the Gaza strip. I can’t judge how sincere they are—no doubt they have to be very careful not to offend Muslim neighbors. I think the percentage is somewhat higher in the West Bank and in Israel proper (within the pre-1967 borders). Israel proper is 2% Christian—I would guess mostly Arab Christians although I think some of the Russian Jews who immigrated to Israel had Christian spouses.
