The decision to install a pier which cannot sustain waves of over 3 feet in the unprotected Mediterranean should be investigated. Announcing it's closing yesterday, then reopening today but closing weeks early because it's unsuitable should be both and embarrassment and competency warning to our military. Unless ordered by the CIC despite warnings from the military.
