Minimum wage laws are economic fool’s gold, and particularly damaging to young people trying to get their first job. If J.D. Vance really believes in them, then he is not fit to become President, and I really hope that Trump chooses Doug Burgum instead.

Our central bank by its very design creates inflation and declining real wages, while on the other hand, government attempts to “fix” it by also declaring higher wages by fiat

Vance’s conservatism has never seemed very genuine to me. Most of the time his politics are in the right place, but I’m not really sure how principled he is or what motivates him.
