According to FBI statistics for 2019 (the last year they have numbers for), here's what murders by race numbers look like:

white-on-black: 246
black-on-white: 566
black-on-black: 2,574
white-on-white: 2,594

Of course, keep in mind that whites outnumber blacks by maybe 4 or 5 to one.

To me it looks like the left's constant mantra that there's a race war, they even call it "systemic", is a lie. With both blacks and whites, the murderer is the same race as the victim. But if they insist on looking at racial murders, then fine, the highest of those are black-on-white.

My take: This page states that there are a total of 6,578 murders per year of all racial combinations (same race and different race and unknown race). If that's right, then we're looking at a murder rate of about 0.002% (6,578 divided by 300 million). So unless you live in a high crime area, there are probably many other things to worry about that are more liable to happen. Like more government control over our lives.

According to The World Almanac, in 2019 there were 16,669 victims of murder and non-negligent homicide. (That jumped to 21,570 in 2020.)

I wonder if the FBI is including Hispanics as whites in their figures.

Another interesting thing to note about FBI crime statistics is that there is no criminal category for "hispanic". They are classified as "white".

There is a hispanic category for victim, however. This means that "hispanic-on-hispanic" crime is classified as "white-on-hispanic".

Many, if not most of the white-on-black murders are actually hispanic-on-black.
