There might be another way...a bit slower.....raise your prices to cover extra cost of paying union wages...as the business declines due to competition pressures...lay off the worst staff...in the meantime...siphon off money to start new non union coffee shops...keep laying off staff but pay remaining staff a bit more, but less than what you were paying with extra staff...after business goes in the toilet, then lay off the whole staff..go bankrupt....take the money and run...never hire those workers again...your failed business becomes an object lesson for rank and file union members ..
