More than 30 people are now without jobs after the sudden closure of all three remaining OCF Coffee House locations throughout Philadelphia. Workers said they announced a plan to form a union a week earlier.

Yikes. Walk into one of those stores with a MAGA hat on and you risk strychnine. Then they’d roll you for tips.

There might be another way...a bit slower.....raise your prices to cover extra cost of paying union wages...as the business declines due to competition pressures...lay off the worst staff...in the meantime...siphon off money to start new non union coffee shops...keep laying off staff but pay remaining staff a bit more, but less than what you were paying with extra staff...after business goes in the toilet, then lay off the whole staff..go bankrupt....take the money and run...never hire those workers again...your failed business becomes an object lesson for rank and file union members ..

Half of them are probably the husbands of the other half. With looks like theirs, it’s anyone’s guess which ones act as husbands. Yikes, I wouldn’t want a coffee from them, painful just looking at them.
