“Ori Feibush is the CEO, I bet his middle initial is C...”
“Ori is a unisex Hebrew given name, for males or females which means “my light”. Also a name from the Hebrew Bible (Isaiah chapter 60)”
Guy is wise to close it down. The haters would eventually come after him.
I believe his middle name is Chaim.
“They’re now getting the REAL minimum wage, $0.00”
👍👍👍
Those people look smelly. I don’t think I’d want any of them touching a cup I’d drinking out of.
Unions leadership: Getting rich on the backs of the workers that you’re SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING!!
karma is a bitch
Their website is still up, but there is now also an ocfreality.com site:
https://www.ocfrealty.com/ocf-coffee-house/
All three sites (which seems to be all of them) are now for sale or rent. Maybe the employees want to pool there unemployment checks and reopen them. It must have been a marginal business anyway, he may have been losing money, or just barely breaking even, and the strike was the last straw.
You know, that’s a really creepy thought for ft his early in the morning.
I’m sorry but the picture on the right immediately brought to mind the picture on the left. (The one on the right was doctored, but the Hooters girls were bringing the protester a coffee.)
No wonder the company closed. It just wasn’t right to expose patrons to these obviously mentally-disturbed mutants.
As I look at that photo I see a collective IQ of less than 100.
Lazy grifters.
Working in a coffee shop is a job to do while you build a skill set to get a better and more sustainable job.
It’s honorable work, but
IT SHOULD NEVER BE A WAY OF LIFE.
When this story first broke a few days ago the owner stated exactly that.
He announced the shops always lost money but he wanted to do something positive for the neighborhoods. He paid the employees between $20 and $25 per hour and having to deal with the added costs of the unions he couldn't justify the losses anymore.
Where do the customers of these closed establishments go then? Other shops? Or make their own coffee? Or not drink coffee?
“he wanted to do something positive for the neighborhoods”
No good deed goes unpunished—especially in lefty-land.
You don't get what you deserve, you get what you negotiate. The first rule of negotiation is to know how far you can push.
In case your questions isn’t sarcasm, these are the coffee shops near the Rittenhouse location:
Similar in other shop locations.
