Juneteenth, an antiquated date really and we may as well celebrate the invention of the wheel Federally, as far as I’m concerned, this year comes on Wednesday, June 19.

Of course there is a killing on it by the stupid out there. It’s now a cause for a ruckus.

This year Juneteenth comes on the third Wednesday of the month.

If your birthday falls on any day from the 11th to the 20th of your birth month, you’ll get your Social Security payment on Tuesday, June 18. Typically, you’d receive that payment on the third Wednesday in June. But this year, the third Wednesday in June is a federal holiday (Juneteenth).

So the banks are closed on that day and for me that is just one more nuisance when it comes to these ‘holidays’.
