“The (Tupperware) Party’s Over.”

The PR blackout didn’t help. I have not heard anout them for years, I still have a bit of their product line around the house. If you aren’t actively advertising and not promoting sales, your doomed.

Rubbermaid was a goto until they changed to a stiffer lid formula and quit using rubber. I no longer use it and shifted to “deli container’s” the same stuff that takeout uses. It’s less expensive. Sorbet containers also work well, and last.

We used to wash & reuse old food containers (butter tubs, etc.) when Tupperware and such were relatively more expensive.

Now we buy the multipack disposables (around $12/ 100 count). They can be reused, too, but if they have something that leaves a residue you don’t feel too bad about tossing them.
