House of Representatives passed a measure on Friday automatically registering men aged 18 to 26 for selective service.
It was part of the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which sets out the U.S. government’s military and national security priorities over the next fiscal year.
This year's NDAA authorizes $895.2 billion in military spending, a $9 billion increase from fiscal 2024.
While it hasn’t been invoked in over half a century, it’s mandatory for all male U.S. citizens to register for the selective service, also known as the military draft, when they turn 18. Failure to register is classified as a felony and comes with a host of legal challenges.

I’m way past my prime but would gladly take the place of my eighteen year old grandson. When being fed into a meat grinder like fighting the Russians in Ukraine, what does it matter if the two weeks in country KIA was 18 or 65? I see all the hapless cannon fodder Uke 50ish troops and I say good. Save the kids.

There have been rumors in DC about bringing back the draft by sometime in September. It has to do with the situation in Ukraine.
This is automatic registration.

You’ve got it all wrong. The military doesn’t want the trans pervo skirt guys in wartime. They’ll use the military freak show to scare away potential patriotic, effective soldiers. When it comes to actually fighting and dying for globohomoism, they want our healthy, normal sons and grandsons.
