If I was in charge, I would bomb their air bases and sea ports and electric plants. They are obviously getting their drones and missiles from Iran.

You are going to compare the military of today, that cannot even meet recruitment goals, have lowered standards, got rid of a lot of the more experienced warriors when they refused to take an experimental "vaccine". To those who served over 50 years ago, and even those from 50 years ago?

You both may want to rethink the reality. The military is one more example of how much damage Democrats do to the military, and in very short periods of time. Especially under this usurper.

Not disputing all of what you said, just the claim that this report is BS. Sorry but claiming our military is superior is a hard sell when consideration is taken on how it has ben degraded via wokeness & social engineering, which destroys cohesiveness within the ranks. Then when we consider that these have replaced the main objective of fighting enemies, the outlook of our military superiority becomes even more questionable.

Why is Hootie (and not the Blowfish) land not a smoking crater- Motto should be “launch and get your one way ticket to your so called paradise”

Also get the word out the missiles and ordnance we should be dropping are coated with bacon grease......

Fully agree. And I do not see superiority today. They have never been battle tested, but the Chinese are a deadly serious bunch.
No one can look at the DEI infested senior military leadership and think we are superior.

It reminds me far more of our military of the late 30s. We had a steep learning curve for WWII including some bad bloody noses early on. Kasserine Pass, the night battles with the Japanese Navy in the Slot, our early 8th Air Force missions.

At least then we could blame our initial ineptness on the depression, and that after WWI, nobody dreamed it would happen again.
Today we will be forced to blame it on greed, DEI, strange social experimentation, and overreliance on gold plated systems rather than steel backboned men.

Well, if you agree, how can you state this article is BS? I mean I do not know what the truth is, but it certainly can be an honest & truthful account.

As for being battle untested, most of them came out of two twenty year engagements, and neither can be claimed a victory, sadly enough.

If it were me, I’d quietly, through back channels, inform the Mullahs for every ship harmed by a Houthis missile Iran loses an oil rig. See how committed they really are to this game.

Now we know the real reason why the USS Texas is having a complete refit.

Not much of a comparison statistically:

Here are some of the losses for each side in The Battle of the Coral Sea:

U.S.
One carrier destroyed, one damaged, one oiler and one destroyer sunk, 66 aircraft lost, and 543 men killed or wounded

Japanese
One small carrier destroyed, one carrier severely damaged, one destroyer and three small naval ships sunk, 77 carrier aircraft lost, and 1074 men killed or wounded

The problem is Iran. Iran can stop the Houthis from doing this if they wished. Oil is the life blood of Iran. Oil is money, it takes money to support and arm the Houthis, Hamas, Hezbolla etc. Oil infrastructure is easy to destroy. It burns hot and long. I would suggest we take out a the pumping stations that supply Kharg Island where most of Iran's oil is exported from. Irans oil export would grind to a stop. It would take months to repair the damage. Little life would be lost. Tell them Kharg Island could be next. If they continue to support the Houthis take out Kharg Island. There are about 50 huge oil storage tanks there. One raid and it is all fire, melted steel and death. It would take years to repair. Iran would collapse economically.

I am puzzled why Israel did not do this when Iran attacked them. I suspect it was Biden that put pressure on Israel to not do this.

“...I think the last thing this government did right was WWII. Everything since has been less intentional and much less successful.”

Yes, we won the war but lost the peace. At the end of the war we had absolute military superiority due to the fact we had the atomic bomb and no one else did. The USSR did not have deliverable atomics in 1950.

Rooselvelt and Truman could have dictated the terms of Europe to the Soviets. He did not. He in effect gave all of Eastern Europe to the Soviets and 45 years of cold war then happened. Vietnam and Korea would not have happened except for the ignorance of Truman and relative to Roosevelt it was either ignorance or collusion.

They’re a bunch of smelly Houthis
allowed to shake their booties
as they run against our ire
before their Lake of Fire.

Ukraine may hit Kharg Island in response to Iran supplying all those Shahid Drones to Russia. Game on at that point.

Waiting for another SEAL team to vanish in a "training accident."

Why they are "training" in a combat zone, present deponent knoweth not...

I suppose we should be thankful that it isn't a declared war. We've been officially at peace for 80 years.

Sounds like “The End of History*” was never translated in Arabic. However, it was written in English and seems to have been read by every Democrat and Neocon, and then forgotten by every every Democrat and Neocon, just prior to starting their war in Ukraine and now the Middle East.

*a stupid-ass book that claimed that wars were a thing of the past

Hou are the Houthi rebels and Hou are they rebel-ing against? Rebels generally attack Houever they are rebels to, but these “rebels” attack other countries.

I think we can agree the Houthi are a bad lot and need to be stopped from interfering with world trade.

They must sleep on a bed somewhere.
