A bill passed by New York’s legislators requiring gun store owners to place a warning sign by the entrance of their businesses now awaits Gov. Kathy Hochul’s (D) signature.
WHAM reported the signage is to address the alleged risks associated with owning a firearm.
Ammoland explained the warning sign is supposed to say, “Access to a weapon or firearm in the home significantly increases the risk of suicide, death during domestic disputes, and/or unintentional deaths to children, household members and others. If you or a loved one is experiencing distress and/or depression, call the national suicide prevention lifeline at 988.”

The gun store is the ULTIMATE SAFE SPACE, and you need to put up warning signs there.

How many languages will it be in and is braille included like it is on the keyboard of drive through ATMs?
I may be giving them too much credit in the thinking department, but is it possible they’ve done this with full knowledge that it’s worthless in terms of protecting people, and are only doing it as a matter of harassing the gun stores?

That sign could be on abortion clinics and abortion pill containers.
Next up are warning signs at restaurants and grocery stores: “WARNING, over eating is dangerous, can lead to heart attack, diabetes, jowls and a fat a55”.
Post at every Trans event. Sex reassignments increase risk of death, murder, drug overdose and suicide.

The signs are so ubiquitous they are no more noticeable than a crack in a sidewalk.
Just as I predicted when I told my friends to vote against Prop 65. *sigh*
Or the Prop 65 warning on virtually everything in California.
How about road signs when entering the state - Warning: You are now entering a constitution free zone.
Might even be able to program a vehicle’s gps to announce alerts to that affect.
Here is one sign I ran across a couple days ago that is so breathtakingly stupid I had to take a picture of it. I sent it to my sister. She said "You need to evacuate that place immediately!"
"Do not stay in this area longer than necessary." -- Sure, we all want to linger around the gas pumps, breaking those fumes, knocking back a Nehi, and admiring the gas pump designs.
