Republicans walloped the Democrats in the 2024 edition of the annual Congressional baseball game Wednesday night, winning in dominating fashion by a score of 31-11 and extending their winning streak to four years in a row.
However, eight climate protesters who unexpectedly arrived and made a boisterous scene at the event were also arrested on Wednesday after being tackled on the field during the game, according to U.S. Capitol Police who released a statement.
During the second inning, over half a dozen protesters hopped the fence and onto the field, wearing shirts that said, “END FOSSIL FUELS.”

It was hardly an ambush. They told everyone they were gonna do this.

Shirts should have read “End brain dead Climate Protesters’”.

I saw a different video where you can hear the crowd cheering lustfully and joyously as the cops tackled the “protesters” and whisked them off the field. The crowd was cheering for the cops. It was totally MAGA.
31-11 looks more like a football score.
If climate protesters don’t like the climate they should move.
More importantly did the event earn much money so the DC pools can get needed repairs.
That blonde cop needs to work on her tackling skills. That was embarrassing.
Since it was congressional game, they interrupted official proceedings of congress.
They need to be put to jail for at least couple of years.
