For much of modern history in both Europe and North America, Jews have been reliably left of center politically, backing Democrats in the United States, Labour in Britain, Canada’s Liberals, and France’s Socialists. In recent years, though, Jews are moving toward the center, and, somewhat tentatively, even the right.
The shift reflects Jews’ revulsion at the increasing popularity of anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic positions in most left-of-center parties. For the roughly 80 percent of Jews who back Israel’s war aims in Gaza, remaining reliably progressive will be hard. In Great Britain, a 2019 study showed Jews shifting substantially away from their traditional Labour orientation and largely embraced the conservatives. In France, Jews generally no longer affiliate with the Socialist Party but instead support the centrist government of Emmanuel Macron. Similarly, Canadian Jews seem to be severing their historic ties to Liberals and adopting a friendlier stance toward the Conservatives.
The change is also occurring in the U.S., albeit more slowly. Three-quarters of Orthodox Jews, whose numbers are growing due to their higher birthrate, identify as Republicans, up from 57 percent in 2013. In 2020, Donald Trump gained 30.5 percent of the Jewish vote, a 6.5 percent bump from 2016. A more recent Economist study found that roughly 37 percent of Jewish voters favor Trump, whose campaign just received $5 million from the increasingly influential Republican Jewish Coalition.

But it was the mass movement of Muslims into Europe, starting in the 1960s, that super-charged the revival of anti-Semitism in the West. Famed Nazi-hunters Serge and Beate Klarsfeld suggested to me over two decades ago that the biggest threat to Jews would come from an alliance of Islamists and left-wing activists. One need only look to college campuses today to see the prophetic nature of their warning.

Next question?
My observation is the hostility from the Right comes from what they do, not who they are.
A longstanding joke by the alt-Right on Twitter is that they were radicalized by Wikipedia: they read about the “Early Life and Family” of prominent Leftists.

We need to get something straight here. Jews are Conservatives. Jewish people are Liberals. All Jews are Jewish but not all Jewish people are Jews. A Jew is someone who believes in Eretz Yisroel. A Zionist if you will.
How do I know this? I know this because I am a “Zionist Hoodlum.” I have many friends who are both Jews and Jewish and have witnessed this first hand.
in my circle there is definitely a move away from Dems, athough not massive.
Wait until Israel conquers the whole of the territory and expels the Arabs from Gaza and the West Bank.
All of a sudden US tech giants, politicians, movies, AIPAC and the press will decide “Nationalism” is a good thing now that Jews have a unified nation of their own.
Just watch.
Culturally, I doubt it. I can see a bump in GOP support, but nothing permanent.
Judging by the recent elections in Europe, this might be the case.

Democrats panic over Jewish voters
There’s no accurate polling of Jewish voters
There are too few Jews to be conventionally polled

After tossing Jewish voters overboard to accommodate the Hamas supporters of Dearborn, Michigan, the Democrats are starting to get nervous about the choice they made.
Despite the rollout of the campaign, beginning with Senator Schumer’s floor speech blasting Israel, and various liberal Jewish surrogates, including Rep. Jerry Nadler, vocally opposing the campaign against Hamas, the Democrats did not manage to sell Jews on Biden’s betrayal.
Biden’s declaration that he would stop providing military support to Israel if it continued to pursue Hamas into Rafah touched off a major backlash from donors, like Haim Saban, from celebrities, like Michael Rappaport, who has said he could vote for Trump, and ordinary Jews.
While there’s no accurate polling of Jewish voters because there are too few Jews in much of the country to be captured by conventional polls and polls specifically surveying Jews are usually run by leftist groups, Democrats have suddenly begun to sweat the Jewish vote.

One of the perks of being a "minority" (ie, "transgressive") is that the various communities are insulated against the filth and slime the "majority" (ie, blue-nosed moralistic puritans) are forced to deal with. Supposedly, merely by being a "false religion" (or being black, the opposite of pure, noble white) makes one a free-thinking dissident sinner. The Left isn't going to attack conservatism among these groups so long as it is practiced only internally and doesn't affect their political behavior. The "transgressive" minorities (being every bit as "in danger" as homosexuals) know the Left will protect them from the puritanical redneck while leaving them the heck alone. EG: we are all told that "white supremacist" American white fundamentalist Protestants are the "only people in the world" who reject evolution and believe the account in the Bible is factual history. This isn't true. Orthodox Jewish literature and preaching are full of details about Adam and Eve and their sin but this is ignored by secularists (as are black fundamentalists). Shoot, the Samaritans claim they have on Mt. Gerizim the original altars of Adam, Abel, and Noah. Do you ever hear evolutionists making fun of them???
It is absolutely amazing to me that the Jews, a people who existed over a thousand years before chrstianity ever began, are nowadays defined exclusively by their relationship with chrstianity. No one thinks of the ancient Israelites as Jewish; instead that classification is reserved for Marx, Freud, Bertold Brecht, Allen Ginsburg, and Lenny Bruce. To hear some "conservative" Jew-haters carry on, you'd think that these Jews were the Sanhedrion. Meanwhile the Hebrew Bible and the ancient Israelites are probably the most hated people in history, and apparently I'm the only person who sees them as the template of Jewishness.
No
They just don’t like their lefts view on Palestine or Israel
They fear the potential Heydrich lurking in the heart of every Christian rightie more than they do Muslim nutters overseas
Historicall most politics they cling to either turns on them or creates a reaction that attacks them in perceived retribution
The Baltics and Ukraine really had this in spades
Time for some soul searching
