Just over 2,000 migrants in New York City have been connected with a job under the Adams administration’s ongoing push — as the city has had trouble progressing on a plan to end the continuing crisis by putting immigrants to work.
Only about half of the 9,000 migrants contacted by New York’s much-hyped Workforce1 program since last October even responded to the effort to link them with employers, Small Business Services department official Dynishal Gross told the City Council on Tuesday.
And the majority of the roughly 5,500 migrants reached by agents from the department failed to even get a job, as only 2,000 wound up getting work, Gross testified.

The sad part of that article is that the author expressed concern that these "migrants" don't respect our traffic laws. Well, DUH - these people don't respect our borders or sovereignty, so why would something as trivial as a speed limit or "Don't drive on the sidewalk" rules matter to them?
This all sounds like people who buy baby bunnies or baby chicks or baby ducks around Easter, and then don't know what to do with the ones that survive to become adult size.

If the jobs aren’t there, there’s nothing they can do.

The illegal migrants don’t won’t to do the jobs because the jobs are beneath them. They prefer the free food, education, medical care and stipends they now receive for no work.
