“malapportioned” Senate? Its completely fairly apportioned. 2 Senators for each state.

The US is a federation of states, not of individuals. States elect presidents, not individuals.

Without the Connecticut Compromise, smaller states had absolutely no incentive whatsoever to ratify the US Constitution and join the US. Now Leftists want to go back on the deal......but they don’t want any state to secede. God no! Some people somewhere might maybe be able to escape their dream of totalitarian control over every last aspect of their lives??? The horror!!!

I don`t know much about the US Constitution (I`m German), so honest question: If the US is a federation of states why are states not allowed to secede? Wasn`t that what the Civil War was about? If the states can`t do that the whole federation thing seems to be more of theoretical concept. In that case you might as well end it and acknowledge that you are one state, even if that`s maybe not how you started out.

Exactly. It is called federalism. The Dems want the states to be mere administrative units and not equals. The 10th Amendment obtains. There would have been no United States without each state having an equal say in the Senate.

The Constitution is a magnificent document inspired by Providence. We are not a democracy, but rather, a constitutional Republic that has endured for almost 250 years.
