Joe Biden Scolds Gun Owners After Hunter’s Conviction: ‘Who in God’s Name Needs a Magazine That Holds 200 Shells?’

In a speech Tuesday afternoon to activists at a gun control event, President Biden asked, “Who in God’s name needs a magazine that holds 200 shells?”

He asked this question during a speech given just hours after his son, Hunter, was convicted on three gun charges.

During his speech, Biden continued his push for an “assault weapons” ban, then asked, “Who in God’s Name Needs a Magazine That Holds 200 Shells?”

The crowd answered by screaming, “Nobody!”

Biden responded, “Nobody, that’s right.”

I looked it up, and there is a belt fed shotgun - so “200 shells” is possible. I’m not sure how practical it would be, but it would be fun to blow through a few boxes of shells at a bunch of watermelons once.

The cycle rate of fire of an M-16 is 600 rounds a minute. The cycle rate of fire of an M-60 is 200 rounds a minute. If you had a 200 round magazine and fired an M-16 on full auto it would fire for 20 seconds, but would likely overheat and jam long before the 100th round.

Biden was consumed with the trappings of wealth. He himself has said he was obsessed with real estate.
