Convicted felon Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, said he was “disappointed” that a jury held him accountable for gun violations.

“I am more grateful today for the love and support I experienced this last week from Melissa, my family, my friends, and my community than I am disappointed by the outcome,” he said in a statement after the verdict.

“Recovery is possible by the grace of God, and I am blessed to experience that gift one day at a time,” he said.

He admitted he was guilty with the original plea deal. So... disappointed?

Who’s the convicted felon now? Maybe Old Joe and his cronies won’t be throwing “convicted felon” around at every turn now.

Partisanship aside, the gun charges against Hunter are contrary to the letter and spirit of the Second Amendment.

Well, Hunter, you should stop whining and STHU. You brought it on yourself.

Original plea deal had nothing on the gun charges, original plea deal was regarding tax evasion... there were no gun charges on any of it.

Yeah, it seems like BS like the Trump charges. He didn’t say he was a drug addict.

They could prosecute him for the mega corruption.

Of course the plea deal covered [up] the gun charges.

Again, the original plea did not include the gun charges.

They were going to let him get 2 years probation for tax evasion on more than $1M worth of income... And gun charges weren’t even part of it, were ignored.

It’s good to be the crackhead son of a corrupt politician.

Now the tax evasion trial should start soon

This is a direct quote from the article I linked:

“U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, raised multiple concerns about the specifics of the deal and her role in the proceedings. The plan also included an agreement on a separate gun charge — Biden has been accused of possessing a firearm in 2018 as a drug user. As long as he adhered to the terms of his agreement, the gun case was to be wiped from his record. Otherwise, the felony charge carries 10 years in prison.”
