Yes, and they can’t even break 5 percent. Even after opposing lockdowns, opposing vaccine mandates, opposing mask mandates, opposing travel bans etc.
Poilievre is Swamp. He was part of the “Conservative” Party leadership that expelled MPs for opposing vaccine mandates.
A good test for Poilievre is if he repeals Trudeau’s million plus immigrants per year, repeals Trudeau gun control, and repeals the social media “Online Harms Act” which has retroactive criminalization of “hate speech”, “misgendering” etc.
I am not optimistic.
The People’s party exists to split the vote on the right. It is highly doubtful that really exists to get the government out of people’s lives. It’s easy to be the perfect conservative, when there is no way on God’s earth that they would ever form government.
In 2020, they took about 5 or 6 seats away from conservatives by splitting the vote and giving it to the liberals.
