The numbers are NOT as good as they look. The NDP is to the left of the Liberals and polls in the high teens. More importantly, where they dominate (e.g. British Columbia, the Liberal vote collapses so that the NDP wins the ridings (individual contests to elect Members of Parliament). ANother 5% goes to Bloc Quebecois which is generally left as well. Another 4% for the Greens, and another 3% for the People’s Party. Poliviere is about as good as the Tories get, but there is no lack of Romney types among the party that are embarrassed by conservatives who actually want to DO something.

I should mention that “The People’s Party” is the closest thing they have to a MCGA (Make Canada Great Again) operation.

If they had a 2 party system, he would have been gone long ago.
But the support from the few far left parties plus Turdeau's means he will give the Grits a run for their money....again.
