Revealed: the Majority Black Committee that Excluded Caitlin Clark for U.S. Olympic Basketball Team

After only three months in the WNBA, the white heterosexual Caitlin Clark has already become the star of the league and has racked up a growing number of records, not the least of which is some of the highest viewership that the WNBA has ever had.

But despite the fact that her stats are better than any other player this season, the majority black committee tasked with picking players for Team USA ignored her and excluded her from the team.

Why? Because she is white and not a lesbian.

I know that there are 2 whites from the NY Liberty who made the team...don’t know (or care about) their sexuality...

Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu...

Stewart is in a lesbian relationship...

Ionescu got married this year...Her husband is a former football player for University of Oregon...She used to play basketball at Oregon...

More people watch Olympic curling than the WNBA.

With the exception of Aliyah Boston (1st round draft pick, 2023) every other person on the roster has significantly more experience than CC at the pro and international level. And while CC has been impressive in her rookie season (except for turnovers), twelve games as a pro is not enough for her to make the team at the expense of other players with years of professional and international experience, even though CC’s stats so far this year are comparable to most of the other players. She will have many opportunities to play for the US international team in the future, but not yet.

FYI: Four of the twelve players (33%) on the roster are white, which is very close to WNBA demographics. The coaching staff is 50% white.

As for CC’s turnovers, they are not all her fault. Basketball is a team game, and when other, inferior players do not execute, there will be turnovers.

TV networks are as woke and racist as the WNBA Olympic decision makers

True, but money talks. And more viewers equals more money.

True, but money talks. And more viewers equals more money.

If that were true and networks cared about profit over activism, CNN would report the truth and quadruple earnings and viewers.

This Iowan is happy Clark won’t be going to Paris. Where she, if present, would be the potential highest value target should terrorists attempt Munich 2.0. ISIS has already reported interest in the Olympics and Paris is chock full of potential confederates for them. And the surprise French snap elections, which might lead to an anti-immigrant French PM (alas not also such a President) could make them more likely to act out their anger. The one Iowa athlete I’d rank above Clark is Nile Kinnick and I’d rather she not match his martyrdom to compete.

Good point. There will be at least one attempt at a terrorist attack during the Games. Israel should not send their team.

Do blacks in general watch it or follow it at all (as the do for the NBA)?

Back when Houston had a WNBA team (the Comets), a friend of mine and I were having dinner at a favorite Tex-Mex restaurant not far from The Summit, where the Comets played.

The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all when we got there because it was around 4:30-ish. We were eating early because we had tickets to a Broadway show downtown that evening.

About halfway through our meal, the restaurant suddenly became quite populated with dykes. Lots of dykes. It then dawned on us that the Comets had been playing that afternoon and we realized the game must have just let out.

So that’s what was supporting WNBA games back then. Most of the dykes in the restaurant were white, although there were a couple of black and Hispanic ones as well.

It’s basically what the Diana Shore LPGA Tournament used to be. A big gathering place for dykes to party.

Thanks for the info, L.A.Justice! I’ve been following the Liberty (for the most part) since last season; I just didn’t name the 2 players as I didn’t know how much people here know about them.

I did read somewhere today that an Aces player (Chelsea Gray) was voted on to the Olympic team despite not yet playing at all this season...due to an injury in last year’s finals.

“Standards are lowered for them to be able to play college sports.”

There are certain schools that cook the books for student athletes.

"Making us racist and homophobic for not watching them during the Olympics."

I would have watched if Clark were on the team. I feel so racist now that I'm not going to watch.

We don’t know that despite his flowery often borrowed rhetoric

But like Reagan said as he reluctantly signed his day

The myth becomes the reality

the wnba does not represent us....either does the nba....

I don't know if any new comers ever get on the olympics...maybe they don't...

but you have a mega star with supreme scoring ability and you'd think she would get the nod...imagine the public following...

but no, we get the same old taurasi and her lesbian following plus other people none of us have probably heard of...you can't tell me there isn't politics and racism in these organizations....there definitely is...
