After only three months in the WNBA, the white heterosexual Caitlin Clark has already become the star of the league and has racked up a growing number of records, not the least of which is some of the highest viewership that the WNBA has ever had.
But despite the fact that her stats are better than any other player this season, the majority black committee tasked with picking players for Team USA ignored her and excluded her from the team.
Why? Because she is white and not a lesbian.

That’s really what it comes down to. The OIC isn’t worried about tv ratings. They will field a winning team without the rookie Clark. No big deal. Let her beef up a bit for the 2028 team.

The novelty of the WNBA with Clark is something to watch until it gets to be like the NBA, which it seems to have devolved into rather quickly.
And I would close my curtains if an NBA game was being played in the front yard.

Not sure how that happened except she just made a very odd and unasked for public statement supporting her fellow wnba players who use pronouns. Couple days later she is on the team. Pro gay gets more points than pro black 🤷🏻♂️
How do you guys not see that this is all hype for a failed business (the WNBA). Do you realize these teams have a $1.4 million salary cap (Compared to $140million for the NBA).
They have been in business 25 years. But every time someone, or some bot, posts a story about them, it is an attempt to undo what is clearly true.

I agree. Viewers are hard to come by to watch the women’s basketball team in normal circumstances. By excluding Clark, the committee made a statement, and now many people who perhaps watched before will ignore the game, thus reducing viewership even more. But with Clark in the game, people who watched the team before will still watch, and more importantly, many many new people will tune in.

Actually, I have no issues with this decision. She just graduated from college. She has to earn her spurs in the big leagues. She can compete in the next Olympics.
They haven’t last in 20 years. And if they do it’s not because a rookie didn’t make the team.
