Devolving into name calling and spurious false accusations is the big problem from what I can see.
Nobody can read another’s mind.
Also, there is the taking something wrong. I’ve seen people take offense at something quite innocuous. Tone of voice and inflection cannot be transmitted via the written word.

And I tend to think more than I type, and on a re-read of my own words I’ve found that sometimes they make no sense!
