n Israel, the news of four hostages rescued from Gaza was met with cheering crowds and tearful scenes of reuniting families. Officials hailed the operation as miraculous and heroic, and offered a rare win for Israel's embattled Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
But it came at the expense of hundreds of Palestinians, who suffered one of the bloodiest days in Gaza. Video filmed by an NBC News crew on the ground showed streets scattered with charred bodies, survivors gathering body parts into sacks, rescuers carrying mangled and blood-soaked children into chaotic hospitals overwhelmed with the injured.
By Sunday, joy in Israel was fading and giving way to the realities of a war that has dragged on for nine months and whose fissures and deep divisions remained largely unchanged by the rescue.
“What we saw yesterday is actually failure of the negotiations,” Yossi Mekelberg, an associate fellow with the Middle East and North Africa Programme at Chatham House, said in a phone interview with NBC News.
“Had there been a cease-fire, these hostages would already have been at home, and the civilians that were killed yesterday would be alive," Mekelberg said.
The destruction wrought during the rescue is unlikely to ease Israel's isolation from an international community that has censured Israel for months over the civilian death toll in Gaza. United Nations Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese said in a statement that she was “Relieved that four hostages have been released," but that “it should not have come at the expense of Palestinians.”

The failure is in the hands of Palestinian HAMAS in thinking that it is okay to murder, rape, behead babies, take, abuse, and kill hostages. Plus, holding them in their homes. Kill a 1,000 Palestinians for every hostage saved or recovered, heck, even 100,000 if that is what it takes. Palestinian HAMAS should see the writing on the wall, surrender, release the hostages, and turn over everyone that had a role in October 7th so they can be executed (okay, tried first, convicted, and then executed).
Quit killing Israelis, quit raping Israelis, quit burning babies in ovens, quit launching rockets into Israel, quit kidnapping Israelis, give up the hostages and surrender and Israel will stop killing you.

Yeah, released from bloody dead hands of muslim terrorist animals. Hoping that the IDF can do more rescue operations that force the muslim animals to "release" the Israeli hostages, and while they're at it release the muslim animals from living.
The Hamastinians have chosen their path. They chose war. They are reaping what they have sown. May the God of Israel grant the people of Israel deliverance from the savages that have chosen to kill and destroy. May Israel find the remaining hostages that are held in Hamastan and rescue them. Grant that everyone who is participating in their kidnapping be found and granted their sought after martyrdom!
Israel is playing nice with the terrorist's supporters. I guess the journalism opening for safe house and editorial is filled.
It helps to remember Oct 7, 9/11, the Lockerbie bombing, and other mass casualty terror attacks and tortures.

There’s only one way to deal with a rabid animal, and that’s not catering to it and taking it into your home thinking you are going to help it.
I wish we had killed more. These hostage were held in a “refugee camp”. There are no innocents there.
