RMV News ^ | June 7, 2024

A recent development in the legal proceedings involving former President Donald Trump has raised concerns over potential irregularities in the jury deliberations. New York Judge Juan Merchan recently issued a notice to both the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and Trump’s legal team regarding a post on the Facebook page of the New York court system.

Benny Johnson @bennyjohnson 🚨 BREAKING: Judge Merchan sends letter to parties in NY Trump case notifying them that this comment was left on their Facebook page before the verdict:

“My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted & Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!.”

4:35 PM · Jun 7, 2024

The post, attributed to a user named “Michael Anderson,” claimed to be from the cousin of a juror who allegedly had insider knowledge of Trump’s conviction on 34 felony charges. The comment, posted concurrently with the verdict announcement, expressed gratitude to the individuals involved in the case for their efforts.

"So this is how the Democrats are going to get out of the
cesspool they created. Fake a post, claim a mistrial.
Yeah, that the ticket."

That's what I think too.
The Dems law-fare stunt backfired.
It's made them very unpopular.
Now they can get out of this problem
but still claim Trump is a "convicted felon."

No chance, zero, zip that the democrat hack judge will grant a mistrial for any reason whatsoever.

Shouldn’t matter. If the guy actually has a cousin on the jury, that should be enough for mistrial. Of course that’s just MHO and I’m not a lawyer.

Trump has raised a half a Billion from this. The Media Companies are overjoyed because a great percentage goes to them in cash.

Not gonna happen. They have gone too far, violated too many laws to back down now. They know if Trump isn’t jailed because of this sham trial, they will have to rely on massive vote fraud to keep him out of the WH.

It’s lose, lose for them but they they can’t quit.

But when the “judge” fails to declare a mistrial, and he will not, it will be an admission this was a setup.

But remember, 40% of the people don’t care if it was a sham trial. My BIL would say (if I talked to him) that even a sham trial is justified to keep Trump out of the WH.

Sh*t’s getting real people.

Absolutely, it would be!

However, there's a 99.999% chance this guy was just a prankster and a 0.0001% chance that he had a cousin on the jury.

So, there's that.

Worst case for Trump. The judge question jurors, and decides that the jury reached a verdict on X (any number from 1-33) counts before the juror spoke to her cousin, declares a mistrial on those counts, and enters a final judgment on X counts. That would:
1. Leave Trump a convicted felon,
2. Force Trump to spend time and money on an appeal,
3. Leave Trump facing felony charges in the trial court,
4. Leave Trump under the trial court gag order, and
5. Force Trump to spend time and money on the retrial of the remaining charges, which the judge could schedule before the election.

Judge declares mistrial on counts where he finds jury had not reached a verdict before the juror spoke to her cousin.

“I assume the judge would have thoroughly vetted this BEFORE releasing this info to the defense and DA, he wouldnt want to look like a complete moron by someone who was just punking people, I mean after all its the INTERNET, everyone lies online, my cousins sisters daughter said something, doesnt mean its true, so why are they releasing this now”

He cannot withhold that info from them.

Stupid. A mistrial means none of that happens.

Twelve times! Or maybe thirty-four? He’s got that part of the trial transcript in the bathroom magazine basket...

>> Wishful thinking isn’t critical thinking.

Optimism that this spells trouble for the wetback cur Merchan isn’t wishful thinking.

You’re probably right, as this seems a little too ridiculous to be true. But you have to wonder why Merchan would write this letter knowing that it opens another can of worms in a case that is the most scrutinized case ever. In a case where there have been allegations that “the fix was in” from the beginning, this new twist adds a great deal of fuel to that fire.
