10,000 is just the beginning.

My friend sent me a photo yesterday of his usual breakfast at MacDonald’s - coffee, Egg McMuffin and hash browns - and the bill, $12.50.

He also signed AB 5 back in 2020 that effectively wiped out far, far more jobs, in the independent contractor sector. It’s amazing that I never see any scrutiny or interest by the Democrat media to investigate such devastating effects on the average worker.

Completely predictable.
Unless you’re a Democrat politician or typical democrat voter.

My So Cal town is chock-full of closed businesses, empty for two years, with nothing moving in.

Under “Bidenomics,” fast food has become a luxury.
French fries at McDonalds soared from $0.99 to $3.99.
Little Black children are going hungry under Biden.

In 2017, when Donald Trump was president,
Happy Meals for kids had their prices slashed up to 25%.
People with lower incomes were well-fed under Trump.

McDonald’s much-anticipated new 2017 value menu means massive prices cuts for customers, a roughly 15% price reduction across the chain’s full menu.

........some items are already being sold at similar prices, leading up to the launch of the new value menu. Happy Meals for kids — are going to have their prices slashed by up to 25%.

<><>$1 items include the Sausage Burrito, McChicken, and Cheeseburger.
<><>$2 Items include Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, Bacon McDouble, and McCafé beverages,
<><>$3 gets Happy Meals and Triple Cheeseburgers.

While the McPick 2 has helped drive sales over the past year, a new national Dollar Menu is a major move to win over customers looking for value.

The company is throwing a huge amount of weight behind the effort, increasing its already massive national advertising budget by 20% starting in 2018.

The 10,000 jobs lost does not tell the whole story. Restaurants are losing customers and losing revenue and their costs of doing business have gone up tremendously. The long term effect of the wage increase will be a lot more businesses closing and hundreds of thousands more losing their jobs.

When businesses close, other businesses are negatively affected, and they too may have to close and lay off many thousands more. Add up the number of lost jobs over the months and years, and the number of businesses that had to close and/or move, and the effect to the economy is very devastating. Not to mention the loss of tax revenue to the affected cities and state.

What's ten thousand jobs lost compared to a liberal 'elite' feeling good about himself?

I mean, come on... Gavin feels "the hero" - and isn't that all that matters? /s

Do you think for one minute they will learn like Biden supposedly did the last few days on the border? That would admit to making a mistake like Carter did with his malaise/managing the government speech. They won’t go there so they have to say those jobs didn’t pay enough until they were in charge. Most elected democrats wouldn’t go down that road but Calif. is different.

This will not be reported in any of the left-wing propaganda organs that the Left considers “real news”, so they will never know about it.
