Turley seems to be ‘shocked’ over lots of things. Methinks the good professor is a bit naive.
Money can also do the trick. I know of a major gambling case in Tallahassee decades ago in which the state court jury stunned almost everyone by acquitting the defendants on all charges. The jury was bribed.
The case made the career of the defense attorney, and the son of one of the defendants became a lawyer and then a judge.

Turley thinks he’s using a nullification strategy. HAHAHAHA. Ya think? All that matters in this trial is he’s Hunter Biden, his father is Jospeh Robinette Biden, and these laws do not apply.
It’s just as well. When Hunter gets acquitted, it will be even better for Trump than if Hunter had been convicted. Everyone dislikes Hunter Biden, even Democrats.
If found guilty, Hunter gets pardoned after the election — win, lose, or draw. Doing it during the holiday season gets the story buried.
I don't believe 12 jurors will find him guilty. There will be at least one Democrat on that jury.
Could get jury nullification. All fact point to guilty but for some reason other than facts the jury finds him not guilty. Judge can intervene.
I’m talking about the fact that his legal opinions, while very solid in the pre-Trump world, are worthless in the new paradigm of Soviet show trials.
Show me a Biden and I’ll show you a criminal appears to be a fact of the day.
At least half the jury is black, and you have the head of the NAACP hugging Hunter in the lobby of the courthouse and telling him that the black community is with him. Plus, a number of the jurors have family members with addiction problems, making them sympathetic to Hunter.
Of all Hunter Biden’s crimes, this is the one that should not be prosecuted. I don’t think the second amendment allows Biden to be prohibited from owning a gun.
He’s not a violent criminal. Just a pathetic, dishonest, white collar criminal.

Wasn’t there a lot more on the laptop than what is charged here? Didn’t Rudy Guliani offer it to the FBI? Wasn’t there under evidence of age sex on there? I recall Rudy talking about it on the radio. He had the laptop right there as the FBI was ransacking his office. He described the evidence and they ignored him. Seems to me this prosecution is starting to make sense. They left out the real bad stuff and they’ll probably under sentence him on what they did charge.

Joe is on record saying he won’t pardon - but did he say he wouldn’t commute his sentence? Joe has to keep a lid on Hunter who knows all the dirt Joe is knee-deep in. somehow this will be fixed - jury nullification, commutation, somehow some way
