Former Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) said Thursday on CNN’s “New Central” that as the election nears, voters will have “more and more confidence in the jury result” of former President Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in the New York business document trial.
Hutchinson said, “I think as time goes on, America will have more and more confidence in the jury result, both in New York but also as you see it happening in the Hunter Biden trial in California, we have confidence that 12 our citizens are going to make a fair and just verdict. I hope that in the end, there’s more confidence versus less confidence in our justice system.”
Host John Berman said, “It’s interesting that you mentioned that you think that the verdict in New York will be accepted more and more over time. There’s a new, New York times poll which shows that there was a slight shift and we have seen that in polls in the presidential race, two point or so shift toward President Biden overall since the verdict.”

Guilty of non-crime is not guilty at all. In due time, most people will have more confidence about how stupid the charges are/were, and how stupid the verdict is.
With more time, voters will know that, none of the 91 crimes that Trump was charged with, would never have been brought if Trump had not been running for president again. With the time that has passed, radical elements in the democratic party and never-Trump idiots, still want to believe that the Steele dossier was truthful and that Trump should be in prison because of the phony Russia/Trump collusion.
With more time, hopefully the American voters will make the democratic party irrelevant, as they should be.

Asa Hutchinson is quite familiar with unfair sentences - the former governor’s son only got 10 days in jail for DWI and cocaine possession.
PDJT was convicted because the jurors know that someone out there know who they are, where they live, where they work, where they eat lunch, who cuts their hair, and God know what else. They want to continue living in Manhattan and they know their lives would be made into a living hell if they failed to convict. Anyone who think that a jury under these conditions will deliver a just verdict has got his head up his a$$.

If 99% of judges wouldhave allowed the defense to actually present evidence, and given standard jury instructions, how can we have trust in the trial?

He may be right. Look at what Americans have bought into the past couple of decades and especially the past four years. Lots of grumbling on the sidelines, but the leftists keep pressing forward. And with each passing year, the percentage of Americans willing to really fight (and those that did in the past) dwindles.
