Victor Davis Hanson: The Myth That Biden Had Nothing to Do with the Prosecutions of Trump
American Greatness ^ | 6 Jun, 2024 | Victor Davis Hanson

Posted on 06/06/2024 5:27:46 AM PDT by MtnClimber

It is past time for the media and Democrats to drop the ruse of Biden’s “neutrality and admit that they are terrified of the will of the people in November and so are conniving to silence them.

The five criminal and civil prosecutions of Donald Trump all prompt heated denials from Democrats that President Biden and Democrat operatives had a role in any of them.

But Joe Biden has long let it be known that he was frustrated with his own Department of Justice’s federal prosecutors for their tardiness in indicting Donald Trump.

Biden was upset because any delay might mean that his rival Trump would not be in federal court during the 2024 election cycle. And that would mean he could not be tagged as a “convicted felon” by the November election while being kept off the campaign trail.

Politico has long prided itself on its supposed insider knowledge of the workings of the Biden administration. Note that it was reported earlier this February that a frustrated Joe Biden “has grumbled to aides and advisers that had Garland moved sooner in his investigation into former President Donald Trump’s election interference, a trial may already be underway or even have concluded…”

If there was any doubt about the Biden administration’s effort to force Trump into court before November, Politico further dispelled it—even as it blamed Trump for Biden’s anger at Garland: “That trial still could take place before the election and much of the delay is owed not to Garland but to deliberate resistance put up by the former president and his team.”

Note in passing how a presidential candidate’s legal right to oppose a politicized indictment months before an election by his opponent’s federal attorneys is smeared by Politico as “deliberate resistance.”

Biden was pushing this persecution of Trump and other conservatives, but most of the left fully supports it too.

Same with the myth of election fraud.

It was just coincidence that five key states all shut down vote counting at the same time.

It was coincidence that they locked out election observers and taped paper over the windows to block observation.

It was coincidence that they all had a huge influx of absentee ballots for Biden come in during the night.

Just a series of coincidences.

Believe that and I have a bridge across the Chesapeake Bay to sell you.

If its the bridge named after the author of the US national anthem, I'll pass.

VDH uses the Dims' own reporting (Politico) to point out that the Biden WH was behind the seemingly "local" persecutions, I mean, prosecutions of Trump.

Keep in mind that Biden was VP when Obama's WH spied on then 2016 candidate Trump.

Imagine living in a country where the press is not only hostile to the majority of the citizens, but determined to play a role in controlling them on behalf of a totalitarianian ideology calling itself “ democracy”

We might even go to war to liberate such people under the boot of dictatorship

Wow, that would be pretty grim, as history has shown us.

Lawfare is persecution through unconstitutional means. That is the modus operandi of the leftist DIMocrats. President Trump must pursue PROSECUTION under the Constitution and under the law of all of these criminals who infest every level of our government. No mercy...none.

“Just a series of coincidences.

The frustrating/discouraging part is they do it, they don’t hide it, the media supports it, and much of the public doesn’t question it.

And just why would they do that Dr. Hansen? Who's going to blow the whistle?

They'll continue with the ruse and tell whoever objects to stick it.

Shame on Shannon Bream. She should resign over her rock-headed naivete. Or, she is a Democrat swine, posing as a Christian. I believe the former.

The entire process of taking down Trump was planned and implemented by democrats. Aid was given to the prosecutors in the various states in their prosecution of Trump. The order of the trials and the timing were orchestrated by the central democrat authority.

NONE of this is random. It’s all part of the big plan to dump Trump. There’s more to the plan - if the trials don’t stop Trump they have other things planned. If something big/bad happens before November, it’s part of the plan.

“It was just coincidence that five key states all shut down vote counting at the same time.”
We were screaming at the TV set that fateful night. Disgusted by 5 states miraculously shutting down vote counting. I've worked at the polls many years here in Wisconsin and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do you shut down vote counting. NEVER. Here in Milwaukee, just like you said, thousands and thousands of votes popped in ALL FOR BITE ME at about 3:30 AM. Geesh, golly, Bite me wins by 20,000 votes.

Then lilly livered GOP here in state, allowed the steal to remain. So, we're up against GOPe and the evil others to NOT allow this to happen again.

God help this great nation.

Ping! Out to the Victor Davis Hanson list

Given Politico was publicly reporting six months ago about Biden’s anger at the pace of his DOJ’s prosecution of Trump, does anyone believe his special counsel, Jack Smith, was not aware of such presidential displeasure and pressure?
