The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is reportedly preparing to revoke former President Donald Trump’s license to carry a gun, a senior police told far-left CNN.
Trump’s New York concealed carry license was quietly suspended on April 1, 2023, following his indictment on sham charges in New York. Two of the three pistols he was licensed to carry were turned over to the NYPD on March 31, 2023. The third gun listed on Trump’s license was “lawfully moved to Florida,” according to the same source.
After Trump was convicted of 34 felonies on May 30, 2024, in made-up crimes, he could potentially be in violation of multiple state and federal laws if he still possesses that third gun in Florida.
Under federal law, specifically the Gun Control Act of 1968, it is illegal for anyone who has been convicted of a felony to own or possess a firearm or ammunition.

He can ignore that. Florida does not have licenses, and New York has no power over the gun in Florida. They are revoking his license to possess it or carry it in New York.
Beyond that, they have no power. In Florida there is no such thing as a “title” or document of ownership.
And he can give to Melania or his son, or his gardener that it now belongs to them. And that’s it... no paperwork required.

Lets say he is now officially a felon. Say he cannot own a gun anymore. His wife is under no such prohibition and neither is his household... only him.
Florida has no documentation of ownership and private transfers are legal.

She’s never spoken about it. She’s a former model living a sheltered privileged life with body guards and secret service protection. Her husband has never talked about firing weapons. The only time I can remember her speaking about guns is after the shooting in Florida when she supported the students protesting guns.
One can support gun ownership without being proficient in them.

That is the law in Florida and most free states. There is no registration or document you can show that “proves” it is yours.
If stolen you can give the serial number to the police to enter it into NCIC as stolen.
But as is true with your large screen TV or shovel in the garage, there are no documents that prove those are yours either.
This is the case in 43 states.

And no, that is not the case. If someone steals one from you and you have the serial number, a cop running across it will know it is stolen and will return it to you. Many owners keep a list of their serial numbers and models for this eventuality and for insurance purposes.
Trump has secret service protection for life. Don’t think a gun matters here with the exception of violating a citizens civil rights.
