A Georgia appeals court on Wednesday halted the criminal election case against Donald Trump in that state pending the outcome of his bid to disqualify the district attorney prosecuting the former president.
The order by the Georgia Court of Appeals all but guarantees that Trump and eight co-defendants in the case will not stand trial before the November presidential election, where Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee.
The appeals court said it would hear arguments on Oct. 4 on Trump's effort to boot Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case.
The court must rule on the question by March 14, 2025, according to the appellate website.

That’s about right. The Georgia RICO case is pretty much dead at this point and the Florida documents case will probably be dismissed late this summer.
Also, SCOTUS will probably rule Trump had immunity at some point this month. (The judges have to be looking at their own vulnerability because if the President doesn’t have immunity for decisions, then certainly federal judges, even SCOTUS judges do not either.)
That leaves the Merchan NY case which the left can base their “convicted felon” chants on. However, even that case will eventually be overturn which actually leaves them with absolutely nothing.
So when they chant “convicted felon” just respond “That’s President Convicted Felon to you!”

There are plenty of insane ones left. They are still working to disbar every lawyer who worked for Trump. Frequently with success. The state bar associations are dominated by the personal injury bar and that is uniformly left wing.

Notice how the biased reporter says that “Trump is appealing a decision..not to disqualify Willis after her romentic relationship with a top prosecutor came to light.” This sentence should have said “Trump is appealing the decision not to disqualify Willis after it was found that she had diverted $700,000 in public funds to pay her unqualified boyfriend to do no work, and then lied about it under oath.-“
