A big reason is because they already admitted that the transcript was modified. It is a fraudulent transcript and an unaltered recording will prove that the DOJ criminally gave an inaccurate transcript to congress.
And at this point I think it would be fair to ask the DOJ why anybody should take their word for anything, after the altered documents to get a FISA warrant, this alteration, etc.
